Expertise in electrophysiology or biophysics is preferred; an interest in fundamental neuroscience questions is required. Graduate students have opportunities to use electrophysiological (in vitro and in vivo), neuroanatomical, and behavioral approaches to investigating auditory development. Strong quantitative skills, with preparation in the physical and/or biological sciences, provide a good foundation for work in the lab. Candidates must apply to and be accepted by one of the four graduate programs with which the laboratory is affiliated (see links below).
